About Me
I am a licensed naturopathic physician in Portland, Oregon. As an ND, I am
licensed as a primary care physician and have the training and licensing to
diagnose, treat, order labs, prescribe hormones and medications, and refer to
specialists. I completed my undergraduate education with a B.S. in Biology and
went on to medical school at the National College of Natural Medicine.
Naturopathic medical school provides a comprehensive four-year medical
education including extensive training in basic medical sciences, clinical
diagnosis, laboratory diagnosis, and pharmacology in addition to counseling,
nutrition, and natural medicine. During my medical education, I received over
1,000 hours of diverse clinical training including experiences focused on learning
trans medicine. I am also currently pursuing a Masters in Public Health degree
with a focus on health disparities.
On a personal note, I am trans-identified and excited to be serving trans
communities. I have an amazing partner, four cats, and one dog who keep me
company. I spend several hours weekly as a volunteer providing medical services
to people experiencing homelessness.
